I like topstep easy to use I passed the accounts only thing I dislike is they are money hungry paying 50 for a paper trading account is one thing but 50 for resets then 150 to activate and if you blow it another 500 it's like they just keep begging they don't give you anything return

Topstep used to be the best out there, but when they switched to (and now monopolized) Project, it's been nothing but troubles. I've been using TopStep as a prop firm since I began trying to pass a challenge back in June of 2023, I was finally funded in January and got my 1st payout from them as well. The challenge rules are pretty industry standard but I like that the drawdown is EOD trailing, not intraday like other prop firms. That allows you to make up a loss the same day if you can catch a good move in your direction.

The company itself is honestly the best there is when it comes to prop firms. Ranging from payout process to wallet, requirments now at 150 i saw previously from 200 and only 5 winning days vs 10-14 days like others. The customer service is alright they like the ai bot way to much. I enjoyed using topstep. They were quick to reply when I had any problems and the process to pass challenges and become funded were made clear and easy to follow. They have minimal rules to follow and minimise contracts on account capital, forcing you to not over leverage which is a big saver, even if you don’t think so. The merge fees are also very affordable, but there is a one-time payment of $150 after you pass the merge. this was a bit interesting for me. I loved trading futures on via tradingview very smooth and simple executions right there on ur TA, the only downside is when you get funded you can only trade with 2 large contracts (50k account) but when you scale up the account you get acces to more contracts

The rules are perfect for every trader. One step only, you are have a daily dd limit which locks your account for the day and prevents you from overtrading, revenge trading and losing the account. The dashboard offers light journaling, which is not bad but not a big plus. The Coach T idea is also good but that pretty much never loads for me so I rarely benefit from it. The support is quick and responsive. The risk managers follow you once funded and always ready to help if you need them.

Which is good if you are truly a beginner because no one really needs 10+ accounts while trying to find their personal trading style. The byuing process is pretty stright forward, and they offer a wide variety of platforms to trade on. The credentials for the challenge are sent instantly to your email so you can start quickly if you want to, also the dashboard is really useful, the only "bad" thing is the data is not refreshed in real time, and instead is done every 24h, but it works nice.
